INSTALL WITHOUT CHANGING YOUR EXISTING CYLINDER
Install by simply tightening 4 screws — no lock replacement, no key cutting required. Thanks to the patented feature exclusive to the Utopic RX series, you can still access your door from outside using your key at any time, eliminating the need for a panic cylinder.
AUTOMATIC UNLOCK
Thanks to Geofence technology, your door unlocks automatically as you approach your home. No need to open the app or perform any action. Your phone starts communicating with the lock when it enters the geofence area, and the door unlocks automatically as you get closer.
Geofence is supported on iPhone only. Set the app's location permission to "Always". Since the feature uses GPS, unlocking may be delayed in areas with a weak GPS signal. Waking your phone's screen may improve response time.
90 dB BUILT-IN ALARM SYSTEM
Utopic RX goes beyond a smart lock by adding an extra layer of security. Its built-in impact detection instantly detects tampering attempts and sends real-time notifications to your phone (DESi Smart Bridge required). The built-in 90 dB siren can also be activated manually using the panic button or remotely via the DESi Smart Bridge.

You can also create one-time e-keys through the app and share them so visitors can open your door using the DESi Smart app on their phones — no internet required to generate codes.

The Utopic RX monitors your daily usage habits and proactively slows its connection scanning to conserve battery when not in use. If left idle for an extended period, it completely shuts down and enters standby mode. Different connection modes let you decide your own energy consumption balance.

VARIOUS INSTALLATION OPTIONS
The Utopic RX mounts onto your existing cylinder. A minimum 2mm gap between the cylinder and door surface is required. If your cylinder doesn't protrude beyond the surface, use the included 3M adhesive tape to mount directly on the door. For thumbturn cylinders, remove the thumbturn and attach the plastic adapter included in the box.
UP TO 6 MONTHS OF BATTERY LIFE
Rechargeable lithium batteries provide 4 to 6 months of battery life per charge depending on your chosen connection mode. Charge via the included Type-C cable.
Monitor battery status anytime via the DESi Smart app. If you forget to charge, you can always open your door with your key.
6 months applies to energy saving mode.
ADJUSTABLE LATCH RETRACTION DURATIONS
After unlocking, keep the latch retracted for a customizable duration — or unlock without retracting the latch at all. All latch settings are accessible from the advanced menu.

KNOCK ON YOUR DOOR 3 TIMES TO WAKE IT UP
If unused for 3 days, the lock slows connection scanning. After 7 days of inactivity, it completely shuts off. Simply knock on your door 3–4 times to wake up the Utopic RX — it will immediately be ready for phone connections, fingerprint access, and other features.
This feature is available under "Connection Speed" in the app.
NO INTERNET NEEDED TO CREATE E-KEYS
Create scheduled user codes via the DESi Smart app even when you're away from home. Share them with friends, Airbnb guests, repairmen, or anyone who needs access.

1. Can I still open the door with a key after installing the smart lock?
Yes, you can use your key anytime or in emergencies. Keep a key in your wallet or bag as a backup.
2. Will my door be damaged during installation?
No. Utopic RX installs directly onto the cylinder with screws or adhesive — no extra holes are drilled in your door.
3. Can the smart lock automatically lock and unlock?
Yes. Utopic RX performs full-turn locking and unlocking automatically. Simply send a command from the app, fingerprint reader, or remote control.
4. Is the smart lock compatible with my multi-turn lock?
Yes. During setup, the lock automatically learns how many turns are needed to fully lock or unlock your door and saves this in memory.
5. Does it matter if my door opens left or right?
No. During installation, the lock detects the door direction and sets the locking direction accordingly via the setup wizard.
6. How can I get additional keys?
Utopic RX doesn't come with a cylinder or keys. You can duplicate your existing key at any locksmith.
7. How can I check if it's compatible with my door?
If your door has a euro profile cylinder lock, Utopic RX will be compatible. A minimum 2mm gap between the cylinder and door surface is required for mounting.
8. Can I use my old cylinder?
Yes. Utopic RX works with any euro profile cylinder. Even without a panic cylinder, the patented design lets you access your door from outside with your key.

10. Does it work with multi-point locking doors?
Yes. Utopic RX is compatible with centralized multi-point locking systems and has enough torque to operate all locking points.
11. Does the smart lock retract the door latch?
Yes. Utopic RX can fully retract the latch when unlocking, allowing the door to open completely.
12. Can the smart lock be remotely controlled?
Yes. With the DESi Smart Bridge, you can lock or unlock your door from anywhere via the internet.

You can always open your door with your physical key regardless of battery status.
