VERY EASY INSTALLATION!
1. Remove the existing escutcheon screws. 2. Install the RXe adapter. 3. Tighten the screws. 4. Align the RXe smart lock with the adapter and turn to the right. 5. Close the security lock. Installation complete!
ADHESIVE MOUNTING OPTION
Installation can also be done using the adhesive method. First, clean the surface, peel off the double-sided tape on the RXe adapter, and stick it inside the escutcheon. Align the RXe smart lock with the adapter and turn it.
Installation can be done on the key or handle spindle (for handles with latches, the latch must be removed first and the adapter compatible with your cylinder brand from the box must be installed).
NO DRILLING, NO CUTTING!
You can install it on escutcheon and escutcheon-equipped doors without changing your existing cylinder or cutting the key. (Almost all steel doors produced in Turkey have escutcheons/tabs.) Without the need for a panic cylinder, thanks to the patented feature of the smart lock, you can enter from the outside using your key even if there is a key inside the cylinder. (Patented feature, only in the Utopic RX series.)
WILL IT FIT MY DOOR?
If your cylinder is completely within the escutcheon/tab or flush with the tab surface, the Utopic RXe will fit seamlessly. However, if your cylinder protrudes from the escutcheon/tab surface, you should choose the Utopic RX model.
Utopic RX and Utopic RXe smart locks have exactly the same features electronically and in software. The difference between them is only in the installation method. Utopic RX offers seamless installation on office, PVC, and wooden doors. In the steel doors commonly used in Turkey, tabs and escutcheons are present, so Utopic RXe is specially designed to eliminate this problem.
OPEN WITH FINGERPRINT OR PASSWORD
You can easily open or lock your door with a fingerprint or by entering a password. (Not included in this set, must be purchased separately.)
EASY CONTROL WITHOUT FINGERPRINT / KEYPAD
You can create single-use e-keys through the app and share them with your visitors, allowing them to open your door with the DESi Smart app on their phones.
AUTOMATIC UNLOCK
Thanks to Geofence technology, your door unlocks automatically as you approach your home. No need to open the app or perform any action. Your phone starts communicating with the lock when it enters the geofence area, and the door unlocks automatically as you get closer.
Geofence is supported on iPhone only. Set the app's location permission to "Always". Since the feature uses GPS, unlocking may be delayed in areas with a weak GPS signal. Waking your phone's screen may improve response time.
90 dB BUILT-IN ALARM SYSTEM
Utopic RXe goes beyond a smart lock by adding an extra layer of security. Its built-in impact detection instantly detects tampering attempts and sends real-time notifications to your phone (DESi Smart Bridge required). The built-in 90 dB siren can also be activated manually using the panic button or remotely via the DESi Smart Bridge.

THE MOST CAPABLE IN THE SERIES
Utopic RXe monitors your daily usage habits and reduces connection speed during periods of inactivity to save battery. If the lock is not used for a long time, it completely shuts down and enters standby mode. Additionally, with different usage modes, you can directly determine your energy consumption.
TRACK ALL ACTIVITIES INSTANTLY AND IN DETAIL
You can see the date, time and the user who performed locking, unlocking, setting changes, or all operations. (For remote access to reports, a Smart Bridge is required.)
UP TO 6 MONTHS OF USAGE
Rechargeable lithium batteries provide up to 6 months of usage per charge, depending on the device connection option (fast-adaptive-slow-energy saving mode). It can be charged with the Type-C cable in the box.
You can actively check the battery status from the DESi Smart app. If you forget to charge the battery, you can always open your door with your key.
6 months usage life is valid for energy saving mode.
OPEN / CLOSE YOUR DOOR WITH ONE MOVE
RXe detects a slight manual turn from the inside with its built-in motion sensors and completes the remaining movement on its own. Thus, you can easily open or lock your door with just a small touch. Additionally, with the touch button on it, you can quickly perform the locking operation with a single touch.

Give Siri a simple command; your door will open or lock immediately. With iOS and Android shortcuts, you have instant control without opening the app.
SMART AND AUTOMATIC LOCKING
By enabling the automatic locking feature, you can select a time between 15–240 seconds. Utopic RXe automatically locks after the time you specify following unlocking. Additionally, you can set automatic locking to activate in specific time intervals; for example, your door locks automatically every day at 22:00.
MANAGE YOUR DOOR FROM ANYWHERE
With the separately sold DESi Smart Bridge, you can control your Utopic RXe smart lock via the internet. You can unlock and lock your lock, access all settings, and view detailed entry-exit operations. You can create single or time-limited codes for your guests and delete them as you wish. Additionally, your smart lock integrates seamlessly with Google Home, Home Assistant, Hue and Amazon Alexa.
CREATE PASSWORDS OR E-KEYS WITHOUT INTERNET
Even if you are away from home, you can give your guests, friends, employees, or Airbnb customers links where they can create their own passwords.

ADJUSTABLE LATCH RETRACTION TIMES
After opening your lock, you can make the latch stay inside for the time you specify. If you wish, you can also choose to just unlock without retracting the latch. All latch retraction settings can be made through the advanced menu.
You can quickly access the options by long-pressing the lock/unlock buttons in the app.
SILENT LOCKING AND UNLOCKING
By long-pressing the lock and unlock icons in the app, you can open or lock your lock silently and slowly; so you don't disturb the people at home or the neighbors.

ACTIVATE BY TAPPING YOUR DOOR 3 TIMES
It slows down connection scanning after 3 days of non-use, and shuts itself down completely after 7 days of non-use. So what do you do when you need to open your door? Tap your door 3-4 times; thus, Utopic RXe becomes active again and is ready for phone connection, fingerprint entries, and other features.
This feature is under the "Connection Speed" option in the app.

1. Can I still open the door with a key after installing the smart lock?
Yes, you can use your key anytime or in emergencies. Keep a key in your wallet or bag as a backup.
2. Will my door be damaged during installation?
No. Utopic RXe installs onto the cylinder with screws or adhesive — no extra holes are drilled in your door.
3. Will it fit my door?
If your cylinder is completely within the escutcheon/tab or flush with the tab surface, Utopic RXe will fit. If your cylinder protrudes, you should choose the Utopic RX model.
4. Can the smart lock automatically lock and unlock?
Yes. Utopic RXe performs full-turn locking and unlocking automatically. Simply send a command from the app, fingerprint reader, or remotely.
5. Is the smart lock compatible with my multi-turn lock?
Yes. During setup, the lock automatically learns how many turns are needed to fully lock or unlock your door and saves this in memory.
6. Does it matter if my door opens left or right?
No. During installation, the lock detects the door direction and sets the locking direction accordingly via the setup wizard.
7. How can I get additional keys?
Utopic RXe doesn't come with a cylinder or keys. You can duplicate your existing key at any locksmith.
8. Can I use my old cylinder?
Yes. Even without a panic cylinder, the patented design lets you access your door from outside with your key even when a key is inside.
9. Can I install it myself?
Yes. Watch the step-by-step installation videos on our YouTube channel. If your door has sagging or friction, fix that first.
10. Does it work with multi-point locking doors?
Yes. Utopic RXe is compatible with centralized multi-point locking systems and has enough torque to operate all locking points.
11. Does the smart lock retract the door latch?
Yes. Utopic RXe can fully retract the latch when unlocking, allowing the door to open completely.
12. Can the smart lock be remotely controlled?
Yes. With the DESi Smart Bridge, you can lock or unlock your door from anywhere via the internet.
13. Can I share access with multiple users?
Yes. Share access with up to 37 users via the app and manage their permissions individually.
14. What if my phone or smart lock battery dies?
You can always open your door with your physical key regardless of battery status.
15. How often should I charge it?
Battery life ranges from 1.5 to 6 months depending on your connection speed setting. Monitor battery level in the DESi Smart app.
16. Can I see who opened the lock?
Yes. Every operation is logged in the lock. With the Smart Bridge, you can monitor activity in real time.
17. Can it be used in extreme temperatures?
Utopic series locks are designed to operate across a wide temperature range and are built to handle such conditions.
18. Is Utopic RXe water or moisture resistant?
Smart locks are designed for indoor use. Avoid exposure to moisture or direct water.
19. Can I move the lock to a different door?
Yes. The lock can be transferred, but may require re-installation for the new door configuration.
