Your Face Data Stays on the Device

Your privacy comes first. This device never sends your face data to any server or over the internet. All data is held only in the device's own secure memory; it cannot be exported, not even through physical tampering with the device.

This device is also not a camera. It does not record, store or share any images or video. It processes only the mathematical data used to verify a face, and that data cannot be turned back into an image.

That means the privacy of both you and your neighbours is fully protected. Because the device records no images of the people around it, it raises no privacy concerns.

All communication is encrypted with the AES-256 GCM protocol, and key material is held securely inside the device. It is designed to meet the CRA security standards coming into force in 2027.
