What is the control range of the Smart Bridge?
For optimal performance, the Wi-Fi signal level shown in the app should be at least level 3. The maximum distance between the router and the DESi Smart Bridge should be 10 meters.
The maximum distance between the DESi Smart Bridge and Utopic smart locks should be 5 meters. Operation at longer distances is possible; however, lock and battery status might not be displayed properly.
Locking and unlocking commands can execute over longer distances via 433 MHz RF. However, battery and lock status monitoring relies on PAN (Bluetooth), which operates over shorter distances.
